Tragic Land

How much of a sorrow it is
to see your land falling apart
But, you’re unable to fight back?
Stuck with your chains of fear.

The land is now suffering,
The people are in grief,
Misery is haunting them,
Wars, tragedies, death.
As if it’s their destiny,
As if nothing can be done
It’s God’s Will.

No hope can erase the sadness on their faces,
No sun is there to rise again,
Nothing is left there,
Nothing but ruins and dust!
